The concert ends. The band walks off the stage. The crowd rises to its feet and showers them with thunderous applause, hoping they’ll come back out for an encore.

One more song. Maybe a few. The band delivered, and now the crowd just wants more.

But the standing ovation didn’t happen in that moment.

The standing ovation happened over years of practice.
It happened when the notes, the lyrics, and the stage presence became just right.
All members playing as one.

The band gave the audience what they wanted, and the audience gave the band what they needed.

Trust is the standing ovation.

In real estate, trust is the standing ovation. It’s earned long before the offer is written or the listing agreement is signed. And it’s certainly earned long before the closing.

Those who consistently demonstrate competence, confidence, and consistency in every interaction, both online and offline, give themselves a great chance to earn that ovation when it matters most.

And a standing ovation makes the audience want to come back again.

And bring their friends with them.

What can you do today that might make tomorrow’s audience stand up and cheer?
