If this post was a hit in Major League Baseball, it wouldn’t even rank me in the top 1000 of all time. If it was an RBI, it would rank me 157th all-time, just behind Chuck Klein from the Philadelphia Phillies and just ahead of Jim Edmonds from the California Angels.

This post would be like 48 strikes in a row while bowling and is the equivalent of playing 66 rounds of golf plus 12 more holes.

If this post represented miles, it would be like driving from Newark, New Jersey to Kansas City, Missouri, or from Las Vegas, Nevada to Ft. Worth Texas.

This is my 1,200th post in Carp’s Corner history.

That’s a lot of stories about building relationships, solving problems, and having fun.

I know I’ve become a better writer over the course of all those articles. Consistency will do that for you. It’s like an athlete practicing their sport over and over again, seeking muscle memory and building confidence in their actions.

I’ve blogged with the goal of sharing ideas, information, or hopefully a little inspiration.

Sales skills have been shared. Tactical techniques have been taught.

I’ve written about family and friends, celebrities we’ve all heard of, and strangers that nobody knows. Finding people being #Blogworthy has always been something I’ve loved to do. I know I’ve made people laugh and I know I’ve made people cry. One thing that makes me proud is I know I’ve made people think.

Some blog posts suddenly pop into my head and the words come from my head or my heart to the keyboard and it seems easy. Other times, I know I need to write a blog post and the ideas just aren’t there but if I just start letting my creative mind run a little, I’ll find something to write.

I am humbled you’re reading this now. I appreciate anyone who is or has been a subscriber. I am thankful to anyone who has ever shared one of my posts on social media, via email, or in a sales meeting or training class.

I’m not sure what I’ll write about next but how about this?

If you keep reading, I’ll keep writing.
