Monday Morning Match is a simple post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

Some simple thoughts as Christmas draws near, it’s time to hit “pause” on our business and share holiday cheer.

No one will ever confuse the real estate industry with cancer research or rocketry science, but we’ve all been working quite hard to serve our communities, customers, and clients.

From showings to stagings and meetings with lenders, we connect with appraisers and architects who render

Designs for a major remodel or perhaps a new home for the lot we just sold, we know helping homeowners will never grow old.

We market on “the Facebooks,” and “the Zillows,” and “Pinterests,” and we always look out for our client’s best interests.

We are proud be Realtors and members of NAR; we’re the guides to homeownership, yeah that’s who we R.

We thank our hard-working staff for the deals they have entered, we thank our affiliates, our teams, and our brokers who mentored.

But as the year begins to wind down and a new year draw’s near, it’s time to slow down, grab a cocktail or beer.

The ornaments are hanging and the lights have been strung; there are still cookies to be baked and carols to be sung.

We get gifts for the children and for Dad and for Mom; We go shopping in stores and the mall and on Amazon.com

It’s a time when the youngsters are told to believe and the adults learn it’s better to give than receive.

You may be traveling this week to see family or friends or perhaps you’re relaxing as the year (and decade) comes to an end.

Celebrate your hard work, you’re an industry leader, and we’re certainly thankful you’re a Carp’s Corner reader

Now I’ve still got a few presents to wrap so I really must run, Merry Christmas to all, build relationships, solve problems, and have fun.
