It’s time to stop worrying about what might happen. You can’t over think everything. What is holding you back form being awesome? At least for today, just do the opposite.
January 25th is National Opposite Day
Instead of staying in bed all day, wake up early and get started before sunrise.
Why be lethargic when you could stretch, workout or exercise?
Elevator? Nope, take the stairs.
No decaf today. Go for the full test coffee and get amped up for awesomeness.
While you’re getting coffee, don’t just pay for your own order. Pay if forward and pay for the car behind you.
Admit it…normally you wouldn’t call anyone today so instead, you’re going to call at least 3 friends, former clients or family members.
Eating lunch alone? Not today? Call someone right now and plan to meet them for a bite around noon.
No hand-written notes for you today? Wrong…grab your pen and a few note cards and start writing a few personal notes that will be dropped in the outgoing mail bin on your way out the door.
On most days, you probably would not be knocking on the door of a FSBO…but lucky for you, it is National Opposite Day so your next listing might be closer than you think.
What about that listing you’ve had for 60+ days now? Now’s not the time to ask for a $1,000 price reduction, it’s time to ask for a $10,000 price reduction.
Planning to leave the standard 15% tip at Happy Hour? Not today buddy. It’s time for a 20%+ tip…and a kind word to the manager on your way out.
Most days you come home with nothing for the wife so today, grab some flowers.
Ready for a beer…or would wine be more appropriate today?
Are you typically up late at night? Head to bed early and get a good night of sleep.
Don’t be a secret agent; build relationships. Why keep to yourself today? Solve problems. Don’t make it a grind…have fun.
Instead of hoping it going to be a great day, make today great!
