It’s that time of year when I’ve been having lots of conversations with real estate agents, managers, brokers, and others in the industry about the new year rapidly approaching. As a basis for those conversations, I love to use my Business Review questionnaire that I’ve shared here before. It breaks the year into a simple SWOT* analysis, which forces honest reflection on what worked and what didn’t.

I find that if you give yourself permission to be honest with your efforts, skills, knowledge, and results, the answers usually come from two simple questions.

What was I really good at?

Where did I struggle?

You don’t need a PhD or an upgraded version of ChatGPT to figure out that if you want to improve in the new year, do more of what you’re good at and less of what you’re not. Download the analysis with the link above and take ten minutes to walk through it. You don’t need every score to be an A+, but with a little focus and planning in the new year, you can certainly raise your GPA.

If you’re willing to be honest with yourself, the worksheet will do the rest.
