Monday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

Builder. Innovator. Animator. Creative. Thinker. Doer.

Tomorrow would be Walt Disney’s 116th birthday. Above all the adjectives mentioned, Disney was a dreamer. He famously said, (1) “If you can dream it, you can do it.

In anticipation of the year ahead, here are 17 more famous quotes from the man who did his part to bring us all a “wonderful world.”

(2) “First, think. Second, dream. Third, believe. And finally, dare.”

(3) “It’s good to have a failure while you’re young because it teaches you so much…once you’ve lived through the worst, you’re never quite as vulnerable afterward.”

(4) “All out dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”

(5) “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, and dreams are forever.”

(6) “That’s the trouble with the real world; too many people grow up. They forget.”

(7) “Why worry? If you’ve done the very best you can, worrying won’t make it any better.”

(8) “The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.”

(9) “Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends.”

(10) “I’ve heard there is going to be a recession. I’ve decided not to participate.”

(11) “The more you are in a state of gratitude, the more you will attract things to be grateful for.”

(12) “Worry is a waste of imagination.”

(13) “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day.”

(14) “The difference between winning and losing is often not quitting.”

(15) “You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you.”

(16) “The greatest moments in life are not concerned with selfish achievements, but rather with the things we do for the people we love and esteem.”

(17) “Around here we don’t look backward for very long… we keep moving forward, opening new doors, doing new things because we’re curious.  Curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. ”

and finally,  (18) “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”

I’m no expert or personal friend of Walt’s and while he probably never said it, I bet he would agree that adding this would make for a magical week ahead: “Build relationships, solve problems and have fun.”

Now, which one will you be this week? A builder? Innovator? Animator? Creative? Thinker? Doer?

…Or will you be a Dreamer?
