Monday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

3948482669_a67d61577b_zThey say the odds are 1 in 1,461 that a person could be born on February 29th, also known as “Leap Day.” With Leap Years only occurring every 4 years, people who have these special birthday can claim two ages – their actually years since they were born and the number of birthdays they have actually been alive for.

Motivational speaker and self-help author Tony Robbins is a “leap baby” being born on February 29th, 1960 in North Hollywood, California. Today is both his 56th birthday or, depending on how you look at  it, his 14th. As someone who is always trying to get the best out of people, Robbins entire message is built around the idea of “it depends on how you look at it.” In his honor, I am going to share 14 of my favorite Robbins quotes:

“Leaders spend 5% of their time on the problem & 95% of their time on the solution. Get over it & crush it!”

“Your past does not equal your future.”

“Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.”

“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.”

“It is not what we get. But who we become, what we contribute… that gives meaning to our lives.”

“Using the power of decision gives you the capacity to get past any excuse to change any and every part of your life in an instant.”

“If you can’t, you must. If you must, you can.”

“The only people without problems are those in cemeteries.”

“It’s what you practice in private that you will be rewarded for in public.”

“Where focus goes, energy flows.”

“When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears”

“Begin to live as though your prayers are already answered.”

Tony Robbin quote

Have a great week and who knows? Maybe building relationships, solving problems and having will fun will help you “Awaken the Giant Within.”
