The day started with a meeting with two mentors. Both have had a huge impact on me.
I taught a class of new real estate agents today and something tells me that the ideas, dialogues and concepts shared could have a big impact on their future success.
This afternoon I delivered one of my favorite classes that spotlighted people and brands that have purposely impacted their customers, local community and entire industry. I have a feeling some of those in attendance will make the conscious decision to change some of their actions and start finding news ways to deliver more memorable experiences. Imagine the impact that will have on their business…which, in turn, could have a huge impact on their family and future.
Tonight, I met some friends for beers and dinner. We shared stories about our families, jobs and future plans. We talked about the impact our parents and grandparents have had on us and our families. As always, we realized the impact of those who came before us is greatly magnified once those people are no longer with us.
During dinner, I received a text message from a young man who I met years ago when speaking to his high school class. On that day we spoke about “Living Life in 3-D; How to Dream, Design & Do What It Takes to Be a Successful Leader in Life.” I know I had an impact on him (and many of his classmates) that day because he has told me so on numerous occasions. The really cool thing is he has had an impact on me too. I hope he knows that.
