Burning-Match -derek-GaveyMonday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

Half full or half empty?

Black or white?

True or false?

Sometimes you get what you want by going out and getting it. Other times things will just fall into your lap.

There are times that you are in the right place at the right time. There are also many opportunities that you miss because you weren’t looking.

There is rarely a police officer nearby when you are passed up by a speeding lunatic but that one day you are in a hurry, it’s almost guaranteed that you’ll get snagged in a speed trap.

Sometimes it’s smart to follow the rules while other times you just have to listen to your gut.

“If the door to success is marked pull and still won’t open, ignore the sign and push.”

Relying on your teammates is a nice feeling but it’s also empowering to have the ball in your hands at the end of the game.

There are usually two roads you can take – the high road or the easy road. When you get to your destination, which one will you feel better telling others about your journey?Chess

It seems there is always two sides to every story, every negotiation, every deal. Before you make your move, be sure to see the board from the other side.

This week you could go solo, avoid obstacles and hold your emotions inside.

Or, you could build relationships, solve problems and have fun.

I guess it just depends on how you look at it.

What are you waiting for? It’s your move.
