Monday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

“This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave.” – Elmer Davis

Today is Veteran’s Day in the United States.

Most of us probably know someone in our lives that has served in the Armed Forces in some capacity. It might be a grandparent or parent or perhaps a brother, sister, uncle or aunt, cousin or even our spouse. Many people might have a child or grandchild who has served or is currently serving the country.

For many of us, some of the Veteran’s we know are among our clients that we have served.

We might work with or for someone who has served our country.Unknown soldier

You might be a Veteran or an active duty member of the US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard.

It’s often said that owning a home is the American Dream. In some cases, it probably is.

One thing is for sure. Home ownership and all the things involved with it wouldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the brave men and women who fought for and still protect our freedoms we enjoy here in the United States.

“Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere, who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor, also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as he best can, the same cause.”
―    Abraham Lincoln

Reach out to a Veteran today and say “thank you.”

Remember a deceased Veteran in your thoughts and prayers and say “thank you.”

Find an active serviceman and say “thank you.”

After that, build relationships, solve problems and have fun. You’re free to do that thanks to a Veteran.
