We seek the spotlight
I’m not talking about being on the stage in front of an audience.
I’m talking about being the person who is at the center of what’s happening. It’s not about being the star. It’s about being the one that people are looking at.
Or listening to.
Or counting on.
We love it when we’re “in the mix” and we love to succeed when the pressure is on. No one ever won the game sitting on the sidelines.
But where do we retreat to during a break in the action or between shows or once the hard work is done?
Here’s a short video post with some thoughts I had today about the benefits of seeking the shade every now and then.

I hope you’re ready to work hard this week.
Build relationships, solve problems and have fun…and don’t forget the sunblock.
By the way, where is your shady spot? Where do you like to sneak away to after the work is all done? Or perhaps it’s the place that you focus on when things get crazy? Share your thoughts in the comments section on the blog.
