"Monday Morning Match"Monday Morning Match is a quick post – maybe a quote, inspirational story or idea – intended to spark some motivation inside each of you so your week gets off to a fantastic start on Monday morning.

I know that some of you may have already seen this but I’m guessing that at least a few of the 1000+ subscribers to Carp’s Corner haven’t. I’m also guessing that those who have won’t mind seeing it again because it will add a little inspiration to your day.

For those who might be new to the story of Jack Hoffman, he is a 7-year old from Nebraska suffering from brain cancer. He became friends with former Nebraska Cornhusker football player Rex Burkhead last year. So this year, at the Nebraska spring scrimmage in Lincoln, Burkhead and his former Cornhuskers decided to honor young Jack by letting him be a part of the game. A very vital part of the game.

For another report, here is the ESPN SportsCenter report on the story along with some detailed breakdown of Jack’s effort on the field at Memorial Stadium this past Saturday.

So now it’s time for you to go to work this week. How big are the problems you’re facing? Are you ready to “get in the game” the way Jack Hoffman did?

Having a bad hair day? Seriously?

Not too excited to meet with that Seller who needs to lower his price? Shame on you.

Gotta schedule more showings for that annoying buyer who can’t make up their mind? Really?

Celebrate the fact that you will get to build relationships, solve problems and have fun this week and the next week and probably the next.

Jack Hoffman will most likely be in chemotherapy.

Kind of makes 4th and 1 not seem so far, huh?
